A new campervan model has been launched, debuting at the Chengdu RV Show on May 16th. Its 6-seat design offers quite a spacious interior.

The campervan market has long been dominated by Fushun chassis, but the emergence of the Yizhou Pioneer Official V pop-top campervan may reshape the landscape. The Pioneer Official V's chassis performance is comparable to Fushun, but its interior details are significantly improved. In terms of overall dimensions, the mid-wheelbase low-roof version (5092×2069/2139×2090/2220mm) balances urban commuting with outdoor off-road capability, featuring a rugged yet sleek body line. Optional features include alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, and off-road side steps to enhance unpaved road performance. Reinforced front and rear bumpers improve protection, while a spare tire rack ensures reliability for long journeys. The pop-top mechanism uses a soft, vertical design, reducing wind resistance and increasing interior vertical space, combining practicality and aesthetics.

The cockpit prioritizes practicality, featuring a standard dual-screen setup (LCD instrument cluster + central control screen) integrating navigation, reversing camera, and vehicle status monitoring. Optional features include a folding passenger bed/single seat, allowing for flexible "2+1" or "1+1" layouts to meet diverse needs. The powertrain utilizes a high-efficiency 2.0T diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a multi-link rear suspension, maintaining stable handling even on complex road conditions while balancing comfort and off-road capability. pop-top version's interior features a white-gray color scheme with wood trim, complemented by warm yellow ambient lighting, creating a cozy yet sophisticated travel atmosphere. The entire vehicle uses environmentally friendly materials, featuring soft-touch surfaces and brushed metal trim, achieving a quality comparable to high-end MPVs. The 3+3 six-seat layout balances passenger capacity and space utilization. A single-row three-seater dinette in the middle, equipped with detachable cantilevered rotating table legs and a tabletop, can serve as a meeting area or instantly transform into an office/dining space.

Central kitchen area: Integrated cabinetry includes a covered sink, pull-out faucet, and a 42L built-in refrigerator. The storage cabinets are rationally divided to meet the needs of food and tableware storage. An outward-opening window and top storage compartments enhance lighting and storage capacity. The sofa on the right can be extended into a 1.8-meter double bed; the small seating on the left is equipped with overhead storage cabinets, an outward-opening window, and a hanging rack for convenient hanging of travel bags. With the roof up, the adjustable bed measures 2000×1200mm. The soft padding and zippered mesh design on all sides ensures privacy and ventilation, making it ideal for camping and stargazing.


The official price of the Yizhou Pioneer official V pop-top campervan is 179,800 RMB.
