Steel structure is a new type of structural form developed from building materials , encompassing the steel structure used under the entire roof. Compared with ordinary steel structures, it has significant economic advantages . Light steel structures are not only lightweight, use less stainless steel, and are faster to construct, but they also possess strong seismic resistance and can improve the overall seismic performance of the building, making it a commonly used structure for factories today. Today, we will introduce the composition of steel structure factory buildings.
The steel structure factory building consists of a raft foundation, columns, steel purlins, surfaces, and walls.
1. Using a flat roof not only reduces the cross-sectional dimensions of columns and beams, but also relatively reduces their size.
2. In multi-span engineering projects, a large double-sloped roof with a single ridge can be constructed, creating a standard for drainage pipes on long slopes. The use of a central column reduces the span of load-bearing beams, thereby reducing project costs. The central column is a hinged, swing-type column made of seamless steel pipe, occupying minimal interior space.
3. The lateral bending stiffness of the frame is ensured by the support points of the steel purlins, eliminating the need for prefabricated vertical stiffness components and reducing the overall flange width.
4. Rigid frames can use variable cross sections, with the cross section being proportional to the bending moment. When using variable cross sections, the height-to-width ratio and thickness of the web and the total width of the flanges can be changed as needed to ensure that the material is used to its fullest potential.
5. The web of the rigid frame can be designed according to a reasonable total width scheme, that is, a portion of the web is allowed to be unbalanced, and its post-buckling compressive strength can be utilized.
6. Longitudinal loads are generally the control loads of the design scheme, but when the wind load is large or the building is tall, the effect of the wind load cannot be ignored. In lightweight flat roof portal frame structures, the seismic disaster effect is generally not as important as the control effect.
7. The support point can be made relatively lightweight. It can be immediately or connected to the web plate using a leveling connection plate, and can be made of tensioned round steel.
8. The prefabricated components of the steel structure workshop can all be manufactured in the factory, resulting in a high level of modernization. The prefabricated component modules can be divided according to transportation standards, and the modules are connected on site with anchor bolts, making installation convenient and quick, and reducing the amount of civil engineering work.
