Box assembly and wall panel installation
1. Place the assembled base frame on a level surface, fix the four columns in their respective positions with hex screws, use lifting equipment to place the assembled top frame on top of the columns and fix it with hex bolts, measure the verticality of the columns (≤3mm), tighten the bolts, and place the column insulation cotton into the columns.
2. Install the wall base support, wall panel bottom groove and backing; cut and fold the wall base support according to the figure below, place it in the wall panel bottom groove after positioning, and fix it with ST4.2*50 flat-head dovetail screws. Then put the wall base backing into the bottom groove.
3. Install the downpipe, which is 2550mm long. Cut off the remaining part to use as a bottom fixing sleeve, and fix it with an M4.8*16 round head nail and drill a tail screw.
4. Apply sealing strips along the inside of the columns and top beams, in preparation for wall panel installation.
5. Insert the upper end of the wall panel into the top groove, and let the lower end sit in the bottom U-shaped bracket:
6. Make openings for doors and windows, and insert U-shaped backing pieces into the cuts. Overlap the inner and outer covers of the doors and windows, and then nail them in.
7. Fix the lower L-piece of the wall panel from the inside of the box. At the corner, use corner bushings to connect the wall panel and the steel column, and fix it with two long and two short self-tapping screws.
8. Use ST3.2*20 to fix the baseboard. For corner finishing, simply hook it onto the backing; no nails are needed.
9. Gather the electrical wires at the corner of the box, make holes at the corner edges, and install sockets and switches.
Container houses installed in construction site dormitories
The installation of container dormitories for construction sites is similar to building a house. First, the foundation of the site and its surrounding walls must be leveled. Reinforced concrete is the best material for leveling, as it is more robust and sturdy. Next, columns are erected, and the frame is connected by horizontal beams. Then, the flooring is laid. If multiple layers are needed , the installation continues upwards. After securing the flooring, the roof trusses and roof panels are installed. Finally, doors, windows, vertical supports, and other components are installed, along with necessary sanitary ware and small hardware.
Quality and safety inspection
Because container houses are made of light steel, their installation is similar to that of heavy steel structure factories. Therefore, during construction, each step is often obscured by the next, making it difficult to inspect many parts after completion. Consequently, after the foundation is installed, it is crucial to carefully check every joint to ensure the container house's quality and safety.
