Built on the SAIC Maxus New Tu Yuanjie chassis, the R5 PHEV continues the Yuejie brand's signature all-terrain design language. The front features a HYPER-LINK streamlined molded component with an integrated sunroof design, optimizing aerodynamic performance. The roof is equipped with a multi-functional load platform, and the rear integrates a ladder rack, bicycle rack, and storage rack. Aluminum alloy wheels are paired with LT heavy-duty AT tires, balancing aesthetics and off-road capability.


The cockpit features a 2.0T DHE diesel hybrid engine and a DHT transmission, paired with a 30kWh high-capacity battery. The system delivers a combined power of 280kW and a peak torque of 798N·m, offering HEV, EV, and SAVE modes. With the electric motor engaged, start-up is smooth and vibration-free, and acceleration provides a noticeable "push-back" feeling. NVH performance surpasses that of traditional diesel motorhomes. The chassis tuning balances on-road comfort with off-road capability, and with a 60kW charging power and the ability to charge 12 kWh in one hour at idle, the combined range reaches 1000km on a full tank and full charge, completely eliminating range anxiety and perfectly suited for long-distance travel.

The interior uses matte dark gray panels and light gray suede upholstery, combined with a no-main-light design and concealed lighting throughout the vehicle, creating a soft and even lighting environment. The floor is made of a custom-designed 3D textured scratch-resistant material, simulating an aged art gallery style. Details such as the beveled rounded corner tables, recessed side windows, and continuous wood-grain armrests reflect the brand's meticulous craftsmanship.

The living area features a double-row seating layout. The front row features a single airline-style chair with ventilation, heating, six-point massage, and lumbar support. The rear double seat can be combined with an electrically adjustable bed to form a longitudinal double bed (lower bunk 195×88cm, upper bunk 185×70cm). The multi-functional table is made of heavy solid wood with rounded edges, complemented by reading lights and wood veneer around the windows, catering to both work and leisure needs. Recessed side windows eliminate the risk of protrusions, enhancing safety.

The kitchen countertop extends into the living area, integrating a dedicated RV induction cooker, a covered sink, a 90L refrigerator, and a microwave. A pegboard system on the wall allows for the free hanging of kitchen utensils. The overhead storage cabinets are equipped with damping rails, and the lower drawers feature a compartmentalized design, meeting the storage needs for food during long journeys. The overall configuration exceeds the standards of other Class B RVs in its class.

The rear upright bed measures 195×120cm and can be extended to over 200cm using the living area seating, accommodating two people. The electric lift bed (185×70cm) features a silent motor and convenient one-button operation. The mattress is made of high-density foam and includes an adjustable headrest, providing sleep comfort comparable to home bedding. A wraparound top storage cabinet and a large under-bed luggage compartment offer ample storage space.

The water system includes a 150L fresh water tank, a 60L grey water tank, and a JG quick-connect system, with a dedicated maintenance port for easy maintenance. Electrically, a 100W monocrystalline silicon solar panel, a 10kWh battery pack (including 30kWh of driving charging reserve), and an intelligent new energy control system work together, supporting voice/APP control of devices. A 5000W fuel-fired heater and inverter air conditioner provide all-season temperature control, and the external discharge function can simultaneously power a 3500W induction cooker, air conditioner, and other high-power appliances, completely eliminating reliance on campsites.

With an official guide price of 559,900 yuan, the Yuejie R5 PHEV becomes the first mass-produced PHEV wide-body light passenger vehicle in China.
